Pride parade in Kathmandu 2024 Gai Jatra celebration
.People from the LGBTQ community took part in a pride parade celebration in Kathmandu on Thursday.
At the event organised by the Blue Diamond Society. People come together each year during the annual pride parade coinciding with the Gai Jatra festival in which people wish eternal peace for their deceased family members.
The theme of this year’s parade was likewise Celebrate culture: Embrace gender diversity.”

Blue Precious stone Society organized Pride Parade and Pride Concert on the event of the 20th Nepal Pride Parade and Gaijatra with the back of Right Here Right Now-Nepal and the US Government office in Nepal.
The pride parade begun at 1 PM at Thamel taken after by the pride concert beginning at 3 PM at Tundikhel ground.
