Gai Jatra celebration is watched on Tuesday in Kathmandu and other places in the country.

People of the Newa community watch the celebration to commemorate those who have passed absent in the past year.

Participants in the celebration camouflage themselves as dairy animals in expand outfits, facemasks, and headgear. Families of the dispossessed offer natural products, beaten rice, curd, and cash to those taking part in the procession.
